Woman kicked, stepped on by horse in Groton
A 21-year-old Groton woman was taken to the Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center on June 6 after a horse kicked her in the head and then stepped on her, Groton Police Chief Stacy Mayou said.
The accident happened about 12:45 p.m. at the Groton Veterinary Clinic, Mayou said. The woman was conscious and breathing when police and paramedics arrived, he said.
The woman was taken by Aberdeen Fire and Rescue to the Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center, said Lt. Rob Senger.
The Groton Veterinary Clinic declined comment.
