Top Sale Horse on April 13 in Corsica sold for $7,000

South Dakota Horse Sales in Corsica hosted one of the hottest horse sales in the country on April 13. The top 20 saddle horses averaged $4,800.

Fischer Farms of Wagner sold the Top Sale Horse. Lot 40, Cats Strait Reyjay, a beautiful black tobiano 4-year-old gelding with a world-class pedigree, not only topped the sale, but also won the trophy saddle awarded to the top gelding in the 14th Annual Super Bowl Gelding Session. He went home to his new owner, Gerald Moore of Jennings, Louisiana for $7,000.
