Animal neglect case being investigated in North Dakota
DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — Stark County, N.D., authorities are investigating a case of animal neglect.
Sheriff’s deputies who responded to a call near Gladstone late last month found numerous horses in poor health and a handful of dead cows. Two of the horses needed to be euthanized. Two others were seized and are recovering.
KX News reports that no charges have been filed in the case, but the investigation isn’t over. The owner of the animals has been ordered to work with a veterinarian on properly caring for the remaining animals.
