Lots of help for Winefest

Farm Forum

The Boys and Girls Club of Aberdeen Area board of directors, staff and club members express their sincere appreciation to all who helped make this year’s inaugural Winefest Renaissance event a huge success.

Over 250 people attended this fundraising event that was held on the first and second floors of the Ward Plaza Downtown Event Center in Aberdeen. Winefest Renaissance offered a chance to sample more than 200 wines from around world, a great selection of beers, spirits and teas and a variety of delicious cheeses, desserts and hors d’ oeuvres.

The musicians who played throughout the evening, the four artists that worked on and displayed pieces and the four chefs that provided delicious pairing opportunities did an amazing job supporting this event.

Special thanks to all of the committee members and our Premier Event sponsors: Ken’s SuperFair Foods, Ward Plaza Downtown Event Center, Republic National Distributing Company, Cask & Cork Distributing, and Ellwein Brothers Inc. as well as all the other businesses and individuals that supported this fundraising event and spent countless hours helping plan and prepare for the evening.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Aberdeen Area, which serves over 520 members year round.

Again, to all of you who helped make this year’s Winefest Renaissance event a success, we say thank you!
