THANK YOU: House moving help

Farm Forum

Hub Area Habitat for Humanity was successful in moving a home and garage last month from 803 N. Roosevelt St. to 1725 Ward Drive. This move wouldn’t have been possible without the expertise and support of the following: Aberdeen Pit Stop (formerly Louie’s) for the donation of the house, Dahme Construction, Milbank House Movers & MHM Contracting, Schwan Electric, Huff Construction, Jacobs Construction, Northwestern Energy, Lee Co. Plumbing, Aberdeen Police Department, Aberdeen maintenance department, Aberdeen forestry department, Dakota Broadcasting, Aberdeen American News, Helms & Associates, Co-Op Architecture, Hans Anderson, the Brent Miller family, the board members and volunteers who have already invested many hours and the citizens of Aberdeen who turned out to cheer on this incredible move.

Thank you for your continued support to the Hub Area Habitat for Humanity as we renovate house No. 12 and start moving toward a start on house No. 13 and various Brush with Kindness projects. Your dedication and support is greatly appreciated by me and the board.

To volunteer, donate services or submit your tax deductible donation, please contact the Hub Area Habitat for Humanity office at P.O. Box 406, Aberdeen, SD 57402-0406, call 605-226-5492, or visit our website at
