Centennial Village looking great

Farm Forum

While assisting with Dacotah Prairie Museum’s History Camp the last two weeks I witnessed an amazing transformation of the Brown County Fairground’s Centennial Village. The workers from the Molded Fiber Glass plant painted and stained the exterior of the buildings. Two very energetic ladies, Judy Kraft and Sharon Serfling, scrubbed, dusted and polished the interior of the buildings.

In the meantime the fair volunteers have put in countless hours of work as well. The village looks fantastic!

If you haven’t toured Centennial Village at the Brown County Fairgrounds in some time, I suggested you do so this year. You will enjoy the experience. Don Gesi can be proud of the way the fair board is taking care of “his” Centennial Village.
