Letter: Noem’s vote costs nation $24 billion
When Rep. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., was first running for Congress, she took out an ad in our local newspaper that said, “South Dakota has one voice in Congress. It needs to be speaking for you.”
She went on to promise that she would vote against wasteful spending and work to create jobs.
I was thinking about that ad the other day when I read that her vote to shut down our government had cost our nation $24 billion.
Talk about wasteful spending!
Maybe after the next election, voters will wise up and send Kristi to the unemployment office. Unless she shuts it down, too.
